Instagram Map is an interactive map inside Instagram that helps you discover what’s happening nearby—see stories, Reels, posts and Notes tagged to places such as cafés, venues and local hangouts. In Pakistan, the rollout began on October 4, 2025. Key features

Explore by place: View recent stories, Reels, posts and Notes from locations around you (or anywhere you browse).

Optional location sharing: Choose to share your last active location with Friends, Close Friends, selected people—or keep it off entirely.

Privacy-first design: Sharing is off by default; clear on-screen indicators show when sharing is active, and reminders appear when adding location tags. Parental supervision: Parents with supervision enabled can manage a teen’s location-sharing access and see who the teen is sharing with.
